An earthquake was recorded in northern Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey reported Sunday morning.
The 3.1-magnitude earthquake happened shortly before 6:55 a.m. in Grant County.
Its epicenter was about five miles east, southeast of Jefferson, 23 miles north, northeast of Enid, 85 miles north of Oklahoma City.
The quake was more than three miles deep.
No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
