Oklahomans Brace Freezing Conditions For Fun In The Snow

In Oklahoma City, residents are embracing the recent winter storm and taking the opportunity to enjoy the snow.

At Scissortail Park, several people gathered to utilize the Upper Park's prominent hill for sledding.

News 9's Addie Crawford met with the Johnson family to join in on the fun.

Kristy Johnson says her family is from Chicago and enjoys snowy weather whenever it arrives.

"It's my favorite weather, I'm always thankful when we get so in Oklahoma," Johnson said. "I don't miss all of the Chicago winters, but it's fun to have a day or two."
